Magic Circle Magician for Children's Parties

Mark is an accomplished award winning Magic Circle magician & children's entertainer and has a 2-hour party format that is hard to beat. This page relates to children aged 4 to 10 years old, for older children and teenagers Mark has a 2 hour package similar to his adults packages. Mark performs at birthdays, christenings, 1st birthdays, PTA functions, corporate events; in fact anywhere there are children that need entertaining.

Mark is a member of world famous Magic Circle (not to be confused with the many magic clubs and societies that may have magic circle in their name) entry to which is by in their words rigorous examination.

The children are treated to a magic show, balloon modelling and a prize-winning disco all performed to the highest standards.  If the show is for a birthday then the birthday boy/girl always performs some magic and produces a present, the rest of the show is a mixture of magic, illusion and ventriloquism, using the children as helpers whenever possible. 

The children's disco is always a popular choice & its not your usual disco where the children run riot!  Mark keeps the children's attention as they try to win a prize during each of the dances and games he plays. Children are given a number of opportunities to win a Star Prize (from a selection of toys), for birthday parties up to 6 years old they all win a prize (so there are no tears at the end if they have not won) , every child wins some sweets and they can all take home a balloon model as well!

All the prizes etc are supplied by Mark and are included in the price (balloons models are optional), he can even supply party bags for £1.25 each where you only buy the amount you need on the day.

If you have seen Mark before he does have alternative magic shows. The alternative shows are good to request if it's not been long since you last saw him. If its been a few months the normal show still goes down well with the children just like their favourite DVD!

If your party or event is longer than 2 hours Mark can tailor a package to your needs to ensure the best possible experience.

Mark does have a 1 hour mid-week package, this is primarily used by nurseries or playgroups where 2 hours would be too long for the under 3's. This package is not available at weekends.

Mark is also a balloon modeller and can add this to the party if required, or it is included in some of his packages. 

Unlike some entertainers Mark does not limit the number of children at his parties, making him the ideal choice for joint birthdays or larger events.

With every birthday party booking Mark sends a printer friendly party invitation (you print yourself) and can provide party bags (you only buy what you need on the day) to make organising your party even easier. 

It is never too early to book and Mark advises booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

The 2013 Show Ready To Welcome Your Guests

The set up above takes up a space of 5m x 2m. The balloons are made before the party starts so Mark spends the party time entertaining the children

Disco lights and laser add to the show, a small amount of smoke is used venue allowing making the lights a real eye catcher.

If you are planning the party at home and don't have this much space Mark can set up in less space but the show may not look as impressive as this. This set up is designed for indoor use only and may not be suitable for all venues.

For Your Peace of Mind

When hiring a magician & entertainer you need to ensure they are reputable, as a member of The Magic Circle Mark has very high standards to uphold and will not put his or The Magic Circles reputation at risk.

Many entertainers have let people down because their day job has prevented them coming to the party, this is Mark's only job so you can be assured this will not happen.

During bad snow conditions Mark has received lots of phone calls from customers worrying if he would come as arranged. Mark changes his car (a 4 x 4) regularly to minimise reliability and bad weather issues and consequently he has never been late and has arrived at all of his bookings even in deep snow!

Mark has a CRB check with enhanced disclosure showing he has no criminal convictions whatsoever (click here to view the certificate). 

Mark is also a full member of Equity, the Actors and Performers Union, and carries £10m of public liability insurance.  

For added safety and assurance, Mark's equipment is PAT electrically tested.  

You will find few entertainers who provide these levels of reassurance.

All of the above are a must have for a professional performer. 

Pricing

Pricing for children's parties depends on a number of factors, the number of children, time, date, location, what is to be performed etc, due to the number of options available Mark prefers to price each party so please contact him for details.
